The story of “one pearl of great price” speaks of the work of Christ and what He came to do. Did God’s program fold up and finish when the Jews rejected Christ as Messiah? No.

God has a marvelous work going on now, even while the Jews are set aside. His work continues in this world through His church. The church is made up of both Jews and Gentiles who believe on the Lord Jesus Christ.
