Becoming A First Century Church – Teacher’s Guide

A highly readable book in Dr. Sexton’s typical, first-rate style, from which pithy observations, advice, and challenges abound. While so many pastors today strive for a contemporary twenty-first century church, bearing little or no resemblance to the church of the New Testament, the author takes his readers back to the very beginning to recapture the precious and powerful blessings of the Holy Spirit. This book is about the true church, its members, its order, its worship, and its methods; and it is spelled out with a liveliness that will capture and educate even the youngest reader.

The Teacher’s Guide is a three-ring notebook containing valuable information to assist the teacher in the preparation and presentation of the Bible lesson. These notes are identical in format to the Study Guide. The page numbers on the “Teacher’s Notes” correspond to the page numbers in the Study Guide. Also included are class teaching notes and lesson aims which may be removed from the Teacher’s Guide and placed in the teacher’s Bible to assist in teaching the lesson.
